A NEW gardening idea from Funpots, designed in th UK. Your display pot will benefit from containing a water reservoir in which the narrow end of the liner sits thus drawing water throughout the liner by capillary action. A small portion of the liner is constantly wet, most plants prefer this in the fast growing summer months when compared to a normal rapidly dry pot.. In the winter, the self watering reservoir is easy to remove if watering is not required. The reservoir generally holds several days water supply (depending on conditions), meaning a reduction in labour intensive watering. The reservoir is easy to fill by hose or watering can, just flex the liner by pulling one of the lifting ears to create a gap down the inside of the pot, or fill by watering in the normal way. With both liners in use you still only need the same amount of compost as you would put in the display pot when filled normally. OR...Use to create your own mini patio allotment for convenient fresh salads or veggies all summer long Try this new labour saving idea now and reap the rewards of lush growth and reduced watering/ re planting.
Funpots, a lightweight adjustable self watering liners in a 32x24cm round plastic pot (also included but of random design). The liner converts the pot into a self watering format with an insertable water reservoir also included if required
The Funpots liner also reduces the compost required to fill the pot by around half (the additional steady water supply from the reservoir compensates for this)
You may use the funpots to create a mini home allotment, to grow your own fresh salads or veggies, or plant with flowers
